The natural beauty of the sea in Tope Jawa continues to attract many visitors. Many visitors come to swim or just enjoy the beach. There are ‘Balai-balai’ (wooden or bamboo couch or sleeping platform), baruga (large meeting houses for rented). 

Makassar people’s favorite food is fish and the most common way to cook fish is grilled or BBQed, so many people come to the beach to have a BBQed fish feast. This place also called Lamangkia, the position of this beach is 14 km from Takalar and 54 km from Makassar.
